FCS Student Grant Program

Welcome to the FCS Student Grant Program, dedicated to supporting students of African and Caribbean descent in their educational pursuits. Our aim is to provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate a commitment to their academic and personal development.





Application Process

To apply for the FCS Student Grant, please follow these steps:

  1. Eligibility: Applicants must be of African or Caribbean descent and enrolled in a recognised educational institution and must follow us on social media (handles below).
  2. Application Form: Complete the online application form, providing accurate personal and educational details.
  3. Short Essay: Write a short essay (300-500 words) explaining how the grant will be used and how it will help you reach your educational goals. Be specific about the educational expense(s) you plan to cover.
  4. Proof of Expense: Along with your application, submit proof of the educational expense(s) you wish to cover with the grant. This could be an invoice, receipt, or other relevant documentation.
  5. Submission: Submit your application and supporting documents by Dec 20th 2024. The winner will be announced in Jan 2025.





Grant Details

Grant Amount: Up to $650 will be awarded to successful applicants.

Educational Expenses: Examples of eligible expenses include, but are not limited to:

    • Tuition fees
    • Textbooks and study materials
    • Exam fees
    • Research expenses
    • Educational technology or software

  • Payment: Funds will not be disbursed directly to individuals. Instead, payments will be made directly to the educational institution or vendor providing the goods or services. Therefore, applicants must provide proof of the expense(s) they are seeking funding for.
  • International Program: The FCS Student Grant Program is open to students from around the world, regardless of their location, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
  • Legal Notices: By applying for the FCS Student Grant, applicants agree to comply with all program rules and regulations. The decision of the selection committee is final and binding.
